Care Assistant – Nights

About the role

As a Care Assistant at Cliveden Manor Care Home, you will deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Job responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and raise any identified risks promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting residents’ dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.

About you

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Show initiative, respect residents and other team members.
• Efficient, able to follow reasonable instructions from team members.
• Adaptable and flexible to cover varied responsibilities on short notice.

Additional requirements

• DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
