C# Developer .Net SQL – Sports Trading

Overview

In this role you will build and own real-time trading systems as part of a global sports trading firm. You’ll work on backend and API development while collaborating with the strategy team on Greenfield initiatives that have business impact. The position blends backend work with some frontend tasks using JavaScript/React, anchored by a strong CS foundation. Based in the City, you’ll contribute to scalable, high-performance systems and cross-functional collaboration to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time trading system components
• Lead backend and API development efforts
• Collaborate with the strategy team on Greenfield projects
• Take ownership of Greenfield initiatives and demonstrate business impact
• Support frontend work with JavaScript/React as needed
• Work with on-site, cross-functional teams in City office
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Key requirements

• Strong C# .Net and ASP.Net development experience
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL or Oracle)
• Comfort with JavaScript / React
• Thorough knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms)
• Collaborative with excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
