Management Information Analyst

Overview

Serco seeks a Management Information Analyst to turn complex data into business insights that drive operational excellence. You will deliver accurate reporting and dashboards, support business transformation initiatives, and partner with the Skills and Employability unit to optimise performance. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, applying data governance, and enabling data-driven decision making across projects. Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain BAU and ad-hoc reporting with high quality and accuracy
• Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI, Excel, and other tools for informed decisions
• Analyse operational performance data and provide actionable recommendations
• Manage reporting requests via ticketing systems and service levels
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver MI solutions
• Support implementation and transformation of new systems, apps, telephony, and workforce management
• Maintain reporting governance, access controls, and data protection compliance
• Build relationships with operational teams and senior stakeholders as a trusted partner
• Contribute to continuous improvement and promote best practices across analytics

Key requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating data into insights
• Advanced Excel (formulas, Power Query, VBA, Data Models)
• Power BI expertise (data modelling, dashboards, reports)
• SQL knowledge with relational databases, including querying
• Experience with SQL Server
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Understanding of business processes, operational reporting, and contact centre metrics
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
