Overview

In this role you ensure accurate order picking and timely dispatch from the Leeds depot. You will work closely with warehouse staff to maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth operations. You handle packing, shrink-wrapping, loading, and delivering goods to customer premises while upholding safety standards. The role combines hands-on logistics with customer-facing delivery duties, contributing to reliable service and efficient distribution.

Responsibilities

• Manage picking orders to ensure accurate order fulfilment
• Select warehouse items based on size, colour, quantity and quality
• Verify order accuracy before delivery processing
• Prepare and stage items for dispatch
• Operate handling equipment following safety protocols
• Plan and oversee storage, replenishment, and dispatch
• Monitor stock control systems for efficient order processing
• Achieve warehouse targets and safety standards
• Shrink-wrap products onto pallets for shipment
• Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver goods to customer premises and maintain professionalism
• Assist driver operatives as needed
• Verify goods with customers and ensure accurate documentation
• Pack warehouse orders to support team operations
• Utilise scanners for inventory management and order picking
• Perform general warehouse duties as required
