In this role you will join a prestigious Top 20 City law firm to lead media litigation and reputation management matters. You will work within a collaborative team handling high-profile defamation, privacy, and data protection issues, shaping outcomes for HNW and public figures. The position offers mentoring and clear career progression in a high-impact practice. You will tackle urgent injunctions, pre-publication inquiries, and strategic advice to publishers, contributing to the firm’s reputation and growth.

Responsibilities

• Handle online social media attacks and related risks
• Present and respond to blackmail/threats and urgent injunctions
• Challenging publication of details for high-net-worth and high-profile individuals
• Manage pre-publication/press enquiries
• Provide strategic advice to publishers
• Defamation, privacy, and harassment matters
• Data protection considerations within media cases

Key requirements

• 2–3 PQE
• England & Wales qualified
• Experience at a leading UK law firm specialising in media litigation and reputation management
