Associate Director Commercial Procurement – Energy Transition

Overview

In this role you will lead procurement management for large capital programme needs, working with transmission and renewables clients to secure design consultants and contractors. You will shape sourcing strategies and manage the full tender cycle through to contract award in a highly regulated public-sector context. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes. Responsibilities

• Lead procurement exercises to appoint design consultants and contractors for large-scale capital programmes
• Formulate sourcing strategies and manage end-to-end tender processes through to contract award
• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts within a public sector regulated environment
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to optimise procurement outcomes
• Manage supplier relationships and performance within regulated frameworks

Key requirements

• MCIPS status or active pursuit
• NEC 3/4 contract experience
• Extensive experience in public sector procurement within a highly regulated environment
• Experience in Electrical Transmission and Distribution or Offshore/Onshore Wind sectors
• Professional qualifications in related subject
