Senior Process Engineer

Overview

In this role at Wise, you will uplift and standardize global operational processes within a fast-growing fintech. You’ll map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and design streamlined, compliant to-be state across the organization. You will collaborate with controls, compliance, product and engineering teams to prioritise opportunities and prove impact with data. You’ll establish robust operational controls, KPIs, and audit-ready documentation to support regulatory scrutiny. This is a chance to shape how Wise scales its operations and reduces frictions for customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Global process mapping and optimisation: analyze as-is processes, identify bottlenecks, and design standardised, globally consistent to-be processes
• Cross-functional leadership: drive improvements with controls, compliance, and domain experts
• Strategic alignment: partner with product and engineering to prioritise opportunities
• Data-driven evaluation: define success metrics and measure impact using qualitative and quantitative methods
• Operational control mapping and assurance: map L1 controls into new designs, define KPIs, implement monitoring, and produce audit-ready documentation

Key requirements

• 6+ years of experience in process management or building products at scale
• Proven ability to map complex processes across large organizations and create practical process maps
• Strong attention to detail
• Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret data to identify opportunities and demonstrate impact
• Problem-solving skills and ability to devise actionable plans
• Autonomous operator capable of driving projects forward
• Experience in fintech or financial institutions
