Project Manager

A leading utilities organisation is looking for two experienced Project Managers to join its team on a contract basis.

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing complex projects from initiation through to delivery, working closely with business, technical and operational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Managing projects throughout the full delivery life cycle
• Developing and maintaining project plans, budgets and delivery schedules
• Coordinating internal teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders
• Managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests
• Providing clear project reporting and governance updates
• Ensuring projects remain aligned with wider business objectives
• Driving delivery across complex utilities environments

Required experience

• A minimum of seven years’ Project Management experience
• Strong and recent utilities-sector experience
• Proven delivery of complex, business-critical projects
• Strong stakeholder and supplier-management skills
• Experience managing budgets, risks, governance and project reporting
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
• Location: Reading
• Hybrid working: three days per week onsite
