Systems Integration Architect

Overview

In this role, you will lead the design, integration and modernization of network solutions for highly available, safety-critical systems within the Air Traffic Management engineering team. You’ll translate requirements into resilient, secure network architectures and guide technical decisions across the full lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that support complex operational environments. Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of network solutions in complex programmes
• Develop architectures and detailed designs meeting performance, resilience and security needs
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical engineering solutions
• Collaborate with systems, software, infrastructure and test teams to ensure integration and deployment
• Provide technical leadership across the engineering lifecycle
• Evaluate technologies and recommend programme-aligned solutions
• Support integration, verification, validation and acceptance activities
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and design trade-offs
• Produce and review technical documentation for maintainability and supportability
• Engage with customers, suppliers and stakeholders to support delivery
