Overview
In this role you will evaluate investment opportunities and support the lifecycle of private equity secondaries deals. You will perform due diligence, industry research, benchmarking and financial modelling to inform buyout and growth opportunities. You will prepare and present investment recommendations to committees and the broader team, and support transaction management and monitoring of existing investments. You will build relationships with fund sponsors, advisors, and industry conferences to broaden the firm’s deal sourcing. Based in London, you will contribute to a globally focused, growing team and culture that values collaboration and execution.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities through due diligence, research, benchmarking and financial modelling
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on private equity LP interests and underlying companies
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to committees and investment teams
- Support transaction management and monitoring of existing investments
- Build industry relationships with fund sponsors, advisors, and by attending conferences and meetings
Key requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in private equity secondaries, investment banking, private equity, or principal investing
- Strong academic record, demonstrated leadership, excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Advanced financial analysis, modelling, and presentation capabilities
