Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services

Overview

As a Pre-Sales Consultant for Financial Services, you empower prospects by linking AlphaSense capabilities to their domain workflows. You work with Account Executives to run product evaluations, uncover tailored use cases, and help prospects move from evaluation to close. You influence product direction through client feedback and collaborate across GTM, Product, and Content teams. This role combines domain expertise with demo-led storytelling to shape solutions for asset managers, banks, and other institutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to run product evaluations and drive new business revenue
• Build and curate Financial Services use cases by discovering client research workflows and pain points
• Engage investment professionals to establish credibility and guide evaluations from inception to close
• Translate client feedback into product and content enhancement requests
• Partner with cross-functional teams to influence product development and betas

Key requirements

• 2+ years in a Financial Services role or supporting FS clients in a fintech/SaaS environment
• Interest in Generative AI and its impact on financial services
• Executive presence with ability to explain technical solutions to business audiences
• Autonomous, proactive, and capable of driving workflow transformation at large financial firms
• Consultative, articulate communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Team player with ability to collaborate across GTM, Product, and Content teams
