Senior QA Test Engineer

Overview

In this role you will own quality across web and mobile platforms, focusing on automated testing using Playwright while contributing to manual testing as needed. You will build and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks, collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers, and drive testing across the delivery lifecycle. You will apply AI-assisted tooling to enhance automation and code reviews, and mentor others to raise QA standards. This position supports a major rebuild of an international payments platform within the Corporate Payments division, offering impact at scale and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own automated and manual testing with automation as the primary focus
• Build and maintain Playwright automation frameworks and end-to-end tests
• Test web and mobile applications, with mobile experience as a plus
• Manage testing for projects from planning through release
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, frameworks and QA processes
• Incorporate AI tooling (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to enhance automation and development
• Contribute to QA best practices and mentor teammates

Key requirements

• QA / Test Automation experience
• Playwright experience (Cypress acceptable if willing to learn)
• Experience with C#, TypeScript, JavaScript or Python
• Ability to lead testing across projects and deliveries
• Cloud experience, AWS preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Seniority demonstrated through technical ownership, project leadership, and mentoring
