Construction Planner

Overview

In this role you will join a London-based contractor to drive planning for recladding remediation and refurbishment schemes. You will work with delivery teams to shape programmes from first principles and manage pre-construction and live project planning. You will develop methods, sequencing, site logistics and recovery strategies to keep projects on track. This is a hands-on planning position offering impact across multiple live schemes and a strong focus on practical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction programmes from first principles and maintain them across projects
• Plan sequencing, methodology and site logistics for on-site execution
• Create and implement recovery plans to regain schedule slippage on live projects
• Coordinate with pre-construction and delivery teams to integrate timelines
• Monitor progress, risks and opportunities to keep programmes aligned with project milestones
• Support bid or pre-construction work with schedule development and method statements
• Collaborate with site teams to optimise constructability and logistics

Key requirements

• Delivery background in construction (Site/Project Manager)
• Proficiency in Asta PP
• Experience with pre-construction and live project planning
• Ability to develop programmes from first principles and manage sequencing and logistics
