Technology Manager – Cardiff – New Role

A leading organisation in the Cardiff area requires an experienced Technology Manager to join its growing IT function.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role overseeing day-to-day IT operations, working closely with managed service providers, vendors and internal teams to maintain effective service delivery, strong controls and continuous improvement.

• Strong and recent experience within a hands-on IT mangement role.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory environments.
• Experience of managing/integrating business systems and enterprise applications (e.g. CRM or internal platforms).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, including experience with Microsoft Defender technologies.
• Experience working within regulated or security-sensitive environments with emphasis on governance, controls and auditability.
• Experience of introducing AI (and guidleines/controls) beneficial
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Exeperience of working closely with both verndors/suppliers.
