Technical Sales Engineer (Electrical)

Overview

In this role you will own and grow the fixed wire testing service line within a specialist contractor. You will build relationships with clients nationwide, qualify opportunities, and quote works while offering technical input. The position offers autonomy to shape a new in-house capability and eventually lead a team as demand grows. You’ll work with cross-functional colleagues to drive long-term growth across commercial and industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop the fixed wire testing offering and drive growth
• Build and manage client relationships, meet customers, identify opportunities
• Prepare quotes and provide design/technical input where needed
• Support nationwide travel to client sites and offices
• Collaborate with teams to scale the service line as demand increases

Key requirements

• Electrical background (electrician or electrically biased technical/sales)
• Proven sales/business development experience in electrical/commercial works
• Comfortable quoting, client-facing meetings, and nationwide travel
