As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Lead Control Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership on complex IEC 61850-based Substation Control Systems projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the end-to-end technical delivery of Substation Control Systems projects
- Developing robust architectures and detailed designs based on IEC 61850 standards
- Leading the configuration and integration of COPA-DATA Zenon SCADA
- Managing technical interfaces across protection, control, electrical, cybersecurity and network disciplines
- Driving testing, FAT, commissioning support and customer acceptance activities
- Mentoring and developing engineers while promoting engineering excellence and best practice
We’re looking for engineers with:
- Strong experience delivering complex Control Systems or Operational Technology projects
- Proven technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Knowledge of engineering lifecycle management, configuration control and cybersecurity principles
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer-facing skills
- Willingness to travel to customer and substation sites when required
- COPA-DATA Zenon SCADA configuration and deployment
- Protection IEDs, BCUs, RTUs and gateway integration
- Industrial networking, IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3 and resilient network architectures
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 and OT cybersecurity principles
- Support towards IEng/CEng and professional membership funding
