Senior Solutions Architect

Overview

As Senior Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of data-driven software platforms that support commercial operations and growth. You’ll bridge architecture, full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and AI initiatives within a small, collaborative team. You’ll shape production-ready solutions from design through deployment and mentor engineers to scale early-stage ideas into enterprise-grade applications. This role combines hands-on coding with strategic influence on technology direction at a global company.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of scalable full-stack applications
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and system integrations
• Develop production-grade applications using Python, TypeScript and modern web tech
• Architect cloud-based solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, API Gateway)
• Manage infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Evaluate new technologies via PoCs and recommend architecture decisions
• Explore AI capabilities including LLM integrations and tool-augmented workflows
• Optimize performance, reliability, security, and maintainability in high-volume data environments
• Collaborate with product, analytics, data engineering, and commercial stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Define integration patterns, auth/auth, API contracts, and scalable system architectures
• Support evolution of early-stage apps into enterprise-ready platforms
• Provide technical guidance and promote software engineering best practices

Key requirements

• Extensive Python development experience in production apps
• Strong AWS experience (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, API Gateway)
• Experience deploying and managing Docker-based apps
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Proven track record designing multi-component software systems from architecture to production
• Experience making architectural decisions and balancing trade-offs in fast-paced environments
• Strong problem-solving and ability to communicate technical decisions to diverse stakeholders
