Are you an experienced Construction Lecturer / Tutor / Trainer / Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract, offering a long-term 6-12 month assignment with a well-established college?
Alternatively, are you a multi-skilled construction professional with strong industry experience looking to move into education, support apprentices, and pass on your knowledge to the next generation?
This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll help learners progress through their qualifications via high-quality teaching, practical training and assessment. The role can include a blend of classroom/workshop delivery and learner support in the workplace, depending on programme requirements.
You’ll deliver engaging sessions, carry out assessments aligned to NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and provide coaching and constructive feedback to help learners achieve.
The Role:
- Deliver theory and practical training across multi-skilled construction
- Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
- Coach, mentor, and provide clear feedback to learners
- 6-12 month contract based in Aylesbury
- £40-£55 per hour
The Person:
- Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a construction trade (or closely related discipline)
- Strong industry experience across multi-skilled construction
- Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / Level 5 DET) and/or assessing awards (TAQA / A1 / D32/D33) preferred but not essential
- Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS checkReference Number: BBBH(phone number removed)
