Build your career in account management, customer acquisition and business development

Looking for a career where you can develop commercial skills, work directly with customers, and build your confidence in a fast-paced environment?

Moon Moments is a recruitment and talent acquisition partner recruiting on behalf of an expanding client in London. We’re currently looking for ambitious and motivated individuals to join their growing team as a Junior Account Executive.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone looking to gain practical experience in customer acquisition, relationship management and business development. You’ll work directly with members of the public, representing nationally recognised charity campaigns and helping to build awareness, develop supporter relationships and acquire new long-term supporters through professional face-to-face interactions.

This is a field-based, customer-facing role rather than a traditional desk-based account management position. You’ll work across London in busy shopping areas, residential communities and other public locations, speaking with people and representing the campaigns you’re assigned to.

No previous account management experience is required. Full training, structured mentoring and ongoing coaching will be provided, making this a strong opportunity for graduates, career changers and anyone looking to establish a long-term career in a commercial environment.

Why Join?

  • Gain hands-on experience in account management, customer acquisition and business development
  • Develop valuable communication and relationship-building skills
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Ongoing coaching, mentoring and professional development
  • Clear progression opportunities based on performance
  • Represent meaningful charity campaigns and help raise awareness within local communities

About the Role

As a Junior Account Executive, you’ll support the growth of charity campaigns by engaging directly with members of the public and developing positive relationships with new supporters.

You’ll introduce people to the charities you represent, explain their campaigns clearly, answer questions and help interested individuals become long-term supporters. The role combines customer engagement, relationship management and sales-focused communication, giving you the opportunity to build valuable commercial experience from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Representing nationally recognised charity campaigns across London
  • Engaging with members of the public through professional face-to-face conversations
  • Building trust and developing strong relationships with potential supporters
  • Raising awareness of charity missions, values and community impact
  • Explaining campaigns clearly and confidently
  • Supporting new supporters through the registration process
  • Working towards individual and team performance objectives
  • Taking part in regular coaching, mentoring and team development sessions
  • Developing your understanding of customer acquisition and relationship management

Skills You’ll Develop

This role is designed to give you practical experience that can support future careers in account management, business development, client services, sales, customer success and leadership.

  • Account management and relationship-building skills
  • Customer acquisition and consultative selling techniques
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Commercial awareness and performance management
  • Customer engagement and retention experience
  • Leadership, teamwork and problem-solving abilities

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Confident, friendly and professional
  • Strong communicators who enjoy meeting new people
  • Ambitious and motivated to develop a commercial career
  • Positive, coachable and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated by achieving personal and team goals

Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, events, promotions or other client-facing roles is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.

  • Total earnings of £1,935-£2,000 per calendar month, made up of minimum weekly pay plus uncapped performance-based commission, subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period
  • Full-time opportunity
  • Ongoing coaching and mentoring
  • Performance-based progression opportunities
  • Practical experience in customer acquisition and relationship management
