Senior Finance Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead and optimise the finance function for an industrial/manufacturing business in Reading. You will drive financial planning, reporting, and risk management to support strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and mentor the finance team. This interim position offers weekly pay and a chance to impact controls, forecasts, and audits in a growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including reporting and analysis
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and financial plans
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with internal teams to streamline finance processes
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks
• Supervise and mentor members of the finance team
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders when necessary

Key requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (Essential)
• Strong background in accounting and financial management within industrial or manufacturing settings
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance practices
• Experience in team leadership and collaboration
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
