Director, International Delivery Management – Professional Services

Overview

In this role you lead Elastic’s international delivery organization within Professional Services, driving bookings growth, revenue expansion, and margin across EMEA and APJ. You will transform delivery practices to outcome-led consulting, scale a globally distributed team, and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance delivery and client experience. Your leadership shapes a dual-mode delivery capability—packaged, repeatable offerings and large transformative engagements—while acting as a senior client partner and strategist.

Responsibilities

• Lead the international Delivery Management function across EMEA & APJ (team of ~15, scale through 2027–2028)
• Transform delivery practice from project execution to outcome-led consulting and higher-value client conversations
• Champion adoption of Fixed Price engagements and manage scoping, pricing, and delivery while protecting margin
• Develop dual-mode delivery: Packaged Solutions (repeatable, fixed-price) and Transformative Engagements (complex migrations)
• Lead AI integration into Delivery Management to boost productivity, insights, and client experience
• Design and embed delivery standards, frameworks, and AI-enabled tooling at scale
• Act as player-coach with governance on complex/at‑risk engagements
• Foster coaching culture and regional talent development to generate new opportunities
• Partner with Regional Services Directors on pipeline, pre-sales, and commercial structuring including Fixed Price
• Serve as connect-the-dots between Consulting, Sales, Customer Success, and Product for unified outcomes
• Contribute to go-to-market evolution: methodology, packaged solutions, delivery models, AI tooling, and commercial frameworks
• Represent Professional Services at senior leadership level to influence international growth

Key requirements

• 12+ years in management consulting, professional services, or enterprise SaaS delivery leadership
• Proven experience building/leading delivery teams across EMEA and/or APJ
• Designed, sold, and delivered Fixed Price engagements at scale
• P&L or delivery portfolio ownership with bookings, revenue, and margin improvement
• Dual-mode delivery experience (high-velocity packages + complex transformations)
• AI fluency in delivery context with practical use of AI tools to improve outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to expand client accounts and shape SOWs
• Executive presence with credibility at C-suite across geographies
• People leadership at scale with coaching culture across timezones
• Bonus: experience industrialising packaged services, AI tool deployment in services, enterprise SaaS platforms (Elastic, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Databricks)
