Tech Delivery Lead

Overview

In this role you will lead delivery of complex digital, cloud and technology programmes for high-profile government clients. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are on time, in scope, and meet quality standards. You will influence delivery strategy through Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, using modern tools to drive efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends stakeholder management with delivery excellence to support public sector transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of complex digital, cloud and technology programmes
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and SMEs
• Manage stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead delivery teams, remove blockers and keep projects on track
• Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods per project needs
• Support planning, governance, reporting, risk management and delivery assurance
• Utilise Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Project to track progress
• Leverage AI and GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve delivery efficiency
• Analyse delivery data and project metrics to support decision-making

Key requirements

• Experience delivering software, cloud or SaaS projects in Agile or Waterfall
• Background in project delivery, programme management, software development, QA or solution design
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading or mentoring delivery teams
• Active Security Clearance
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear delivery plans and technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving and prioritisation abilities
