What you will do:
- – Assess and manage patients with Head and Neck conditions
- – Deliver specialist Speech and Language Therapy interventions
- – Assess communication and swallowing difficulties
- – Develop and review patient treatment plans
- – Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and healthcare colleagues
- – Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- – Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records and reports
- – Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care
Requirements:
- – Degree or Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- – HCPC registration
- – Experience working as a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist
- – Proficiency in assessing and managing dysphagia
- – Ability to independently handle a specialist caseload
- – Excellent communication skills along with teamwork experience
- – Previous experience in NHS Speech and Language Therapy
- – Experience within specialist Head and Neck services
- – Proficiency in delivering advanced dysphagia interventions
