• Provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes.
• Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with medication according to training and care plans.
• Prepare meals and support clients with nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with everyday living activities and light household duties.
• Promote clients’ independence, dignity and personal choice.
• Maintain accurate care records and report concerns appropriately.
• Treat clients with kindness, respect and compassion.
• Expected hours are around 37.5 hours per week, although both full-time and part-time arrangements are advertised.

Requirements

• Caring, compassionate and patient personality.
• Reliable, honest and professional approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.
