Recruitment Assistant

Chester – CH1Up to £30,000 (DOE)Permanent, Full time Office based role with occasional travel to Preston (Once per month)

I’ll be honest — this isn’t a role where you quietly manage vacancies in a settled, predictable environment.

Embrace Care is going through a period of significant change as we prepare for organic growth in 2027. Recruitment is busy, fast-moving and central to that journey. You’ll be working in an environment where systems are being upgraded, processes redesigned, responsibilities evolving and, at times, we’re figuring things out as we go.

If you need certainty, fixed processes and everything neatly mapped out before you start, this won’t be the right fit right now.

But if you can adapt quickly, stay calm under pressure, think creatively, bring new ideas, support stakeholders through change and still get roles filled, you’ll thrive here — and we’d love to hear from you.

This role also offers the chance to develop your skills beyond day-to-day recruitment, with involvement in attraction strategy and genuine progression opportunities as we grow.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand vacancies and priorities
  • Advertise roles, review applications and complete structured pre-screens
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, CV search, events and partnerships
  • Assess suitability, availability and motivation for care roles
  • Present candidate summaries and coordinate interviews efficiently
  • Manage multiple vacancies and build talent pools for key roles
  • Maintain accurate ATS records and support safer recruitment compliance
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand requirements, think together and deliver updates

What you’ll need:

  • Experience using job boards and social media for sourcing and advertising
  • Confident reviewing applications and conducting pre-screens whilst maintaining a great candidate experience
  • Ability to think proactively and create attraction strategy
  • Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence to run recruitment meetings with Hiring Managers and Senior Leaders
  • Recruitment experience in care or a regulated sector (desirable)

Why Embrace Care?

We support adults, children and young people with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and mental health needs across CQC and Ofsted-regulated services. Recruitment is central to our growth, and your work will directly influence the quality of care we deliver.

If you’re proactive, people-focused and enjoy sourcing great talent, we’d love to hear from you.
