Overview

In this senior client-facing role, you originate and shape SAP finance transformation opportunities, converting finance problems into funded pursuits. You lead early discovery and design, aligning CFO and CIO priorities with SAP-enabled solutions while driving deal shaping and pipeline growth. You’ll articulate a credible AI-enabled finance vision, balancing strategy with practical delivery considerations. Your impact spans client relationships, market eminence, and building a capable team around high-impact engagements.

Responsibilities

• Originate and win SAP finance work by engaging senior finance and technology leaders
• Own qualification calls and determine pursuit scope, solution, and commercial shape
• Lead bids, orals, and pipeline development with a focus on funded outcomes
• Grow account relationships and ensure visibility of next opportunities before current work lands
• Steer front-end discovery, diagnostic, visioning, and early design with the client as the finance design authority
• Demonstrate credibility in SAP-enabled finance transformation discussions with CFOs/CIOs
• Contribute to AI-enabled finance discussions (SAP Business AI, Joule, agentic AI) and articulate practical implications
• Build and coach the SAP finance capability within the team and develop senior talent
• Shape market narratives and speak publicly to create inbound opportunities
• Collaborate with delivery and client leadership to hand over defined scope and design direction

Key requirements

• 12+ years in enterprise finance transformation or equivalent experience
• Proven track record originating, shaping, and closing SAP-enabled finance work at deal level
• Strong senior client relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, CIOs, and transformation leads
• Experience leading discovery and early design phases on large finance transformation programmes
• Breadth across more than one finance platform beyond SAP
• Ability to hold credible conversations about SAP Business AI, Joule, and agentic AI in finance
• Professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
