We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the team in Melksham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in grounds maintenance who is looking for a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of general grounds maintenance duties, ensuring outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weeding and general landscaping duties
- Maintaining gardens, green spaces and communal areas
- Using grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
- General upkeep and maintenance of outdoor areas
- Working as part of a team to ensure work is completed to a high standard
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong previous experience in grounds maintenance
- A full UK Driving Licence – essential
- Experience using grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
- A good understanding of general grounds maintenance practices
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in their work
