Generator Service Engineer

JOB TITLE: Generator Service EngineerDIVISION: Rental DepartmentLOCATION: Dover, KentREPORTABLE TO: Service ManagerHOURS: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an additional Service Engineer with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our Powerhire Rental team. You will undertake installation and maintenance of our fleet of generators both within the workshop and on customer sites.Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of our fleet of generators both within the workshop and on our customer sites
• Testing and certification of electrical distribution equipment Generator fleet fault finding and repairs Maintain and repair cable.
• Part of the company on call rota
• Attend breakdowns

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Desirable qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering ( 18 th edition )
• Full drivers licence is required
• Be competent with IT
• Have good time management and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills and “can do” attitude
• Experience with LV switchboards would be advantageous

Remuneration:

• 20 to 23 days holiday, plus birthday leave and bank holidays
• Be part of our out of hours call out service
• Unlimited Overtime available on Weekday and Weekends
• Overseas work available
• Fully expensed company vehicle
• Preferably based in Kent or South East
