Mechanical Production Engineer

Overview

Join Diageo’s Leven packaging site as a Mechanical Production Engineer focused on mechanical systems. You will drive reliability, performance and continuous improvement of mechanical assets, keeping lines running smoothly. You’ll partner with operations, CAPEX and maintenance teams to deliver structured maintenance and asset programs. You’ll respond to plant issues decisively, report outcomes in SAP, and uphold safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, CAPEX and maintenance groups to raise performance and enable cross-functional success
• Plan and review maintenance tasks with operations to minimise disruption and ensure parts availability
• Create, implement and refine maintenance programs to optimise asset utilization
• Respond to plant issues with a calm, solution-focused approach to minimise downtime
• Use SAP to report maintenance outcomes and share guidelines across the site
• Uphold health, safety and quality standards and lead by example to meet site KPIs
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the team

Key requirements

• Relevant qualifications with knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and environmental risk principles
• Experience in a production or FMCG environment (preferred)
• Collaborative team player with decisive decision-making ability
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Innovative mindset with focus on manufacturing excellence and improvements
