Interim Management Accountant

I’m working exclusively with a global manufacturer who needs an experienced interim to support their Controlling team through year end, until at least February with potential to extend.

The role

• Costing runs and standard cost reviews
• Production and price variance analysis, getting to the root cause and following it through
• Reviewing transactions to make sure processes are followed
• Productivity, utilisation and efficiency KPIs, feeding back to Production
• Month end support, including cost of sales reviews and reporting
• Improving finance processes while strengthening controls

What they need

• Strong cost accounting experience in manufacturing
• Comfortable pulling data and querying the system yourself
• Detail focused, self sufficient and keen to improve how things work

Location

Mainly based in the Thames Valley, with regular travel to the manufacturing site further west along the M4. Four days on site and one from home.
