The team behind Temper is looking for an experienced Head Chef for a planned restaurant opening under a new brand, bringing together bold flavours, barbecue and a lively dining experience. This is an opportunity to build your kitchen team, establish high standards and help shape the restaurant The role

• Recruit, train and develop the kitchen team.
• Lead daily kitchen operations, delivering consistent food quality.
• Work with the operations team on menu development
• Manage food costs, stock, ordering and kitchen labour.
• Maintain excellent food safety, allergen and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with the General Manager to deliver a successful opening. Proven experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant.
• Strong skills in meat cookery, grilling and barbecue.
• A hands-on approach and the ability to lead calmly under pressure.
• Good commercial awareness and experience managing kitchen budgets.
• A passion for developing people and delivering great food.
• Previous opening or relaunch experience would be an advantage.
