Group Reporting Manager | ACA | London (Hybrid)
An opportunity has arisen for an ACA-qualified accountant to join a growing international group in the maritime industry, headquartered in London as Group Reporting Manager.
This is a permanent position within a high-calibre Group Finance function and would suit an individual with a strong technical accounting and consolidation background who is seeking greater ownership and exposure within an international, multi-entity environment.
The business has experienced significant growth in recent years and is continuing to invest in its finance infrastructure, reporting capability and international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process.
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.
- Technical accounting support across the group, including preparation of accounting papers and policy development.
- Management of the year-end audit process and coordination with external auditors.
- Oversight of intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation and complex accounting matters.
- Support for finance transformation and systems enhancement initiatives.
- Collaboration with finance teams across multiple international jurisdictions.
Candidate Profile
- Audit-trained, ideally from a Big 4
- Experience within Group Reporting, Financial Reporting, Consolidation or Technical Accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity group structure
- Ability to manage competing priorities within a dynamic international environment
