Senior Solutions Engineer

Overview

Join Twilio as a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive technical wins in the South EMEA region. You’ll lead pre-sales engagements, design and present product solutions, and build trusted advisor relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role blends hands-on solutioning with demonstrations, PoCs, and architectural guidance to help customers realize Twilio’s communications platforms. You’ll work closely with account teams in a remote-first culture that values inclusion and impact.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to run pre-sales activities (qualification, demos, PoCs, RFPs, design docs, enablement)
• Lead technical and product discussions to demonstrate best-fit solutions and API usage
• Understand customer pains through discovery and design innovative Twilio-based solutions
• Deliver highly interactive product demonstrations to stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences
• Be proactive in problem-solving and guide customers and teams toward success
• Contribute to the Presales Engineering community with reusable materials and demonstrations
• Mentor less experienced Presales Engineers

Key requirements

• 8+ years in pre-sales selling complex technical products or 10+ years in technical roles with customer-facing experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with audience confidence
• Ability to understand and map customer communications needs to technical solutions
• Software development background or experience in Backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) or Web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, frameworks) and REST APIs
• Experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security
• Familiarity with sales methodologies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
