Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer in our growing R&D team, you will own complex embedded software projects and influence the architecture and delivery of mission-critical communication systems. You’ll develop embedded Linux applications and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to transition concepts into production. You’ll balance hands-on development with technical leadership and mentoring to drive impactful product outcomes. Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of complex embedded software projects and architectures
• Drive design, architectural decisions and end-to-end delivery
• Develop embedded Linux applications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the product lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
• Take concepts through to production and release

Key requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto
• Strong C++ and C software development
• Solid software architecture and system design experience
• Proven ability to deliver complex embedded products from requirements to release
• Ability to take technical ownership and drive engineering decisions
• Strong understanding of networking, communications protocols, and embedded systems
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership activities
