Working on significant regional building projects, you’ll help maximise profitability whilst building strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers. What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering commercial excellence across our projects. Your day to day will include:
- -Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin on assigned projects
- -Appointing contractors and subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plant
- -Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers
- -Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and the wider supply chain
- -Identifying contractual and commercial risks and proposing ways to mitigate them
You have clear communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients and supply chains
- -You have demonstrable experience in a similar role
- -You have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- -You’re confident using a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office
