Contingent Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead complex customer implementations for contingent workforce programs, ensuring compliant and scalable MSP/VMS-driven processes. You’ll work closely with MSPs, VMS platforms, and cross-functional teams to deliver successful rollout journeys for strategic clients. You drive detailed project plans, risk management, and executive-level reporting to keep programs on scope, time, and budget. Responsibilities

• Join pre-sales handoff and develop rollout plans for contingent workforce needs
• Lead implementation for contingent labor, coordinating with MSP stakeholders and VMS platforms
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and stakeholder comms
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget
• Be primary client contact during implementation, especially for third-party system integrations
• Lead weekly implementation meetings, manage deliverables, and produce executive reports
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Compliance to align requirements
• Ensure compliance with contractual, timeline, and global contingent labor regulations
• Monitor performance and escalate risks when needed
• Contribute to internal initiatives to improve MSP/VMS delivery and integrations

Key requirements

• 5+ years in Project Management or Sr. Project Management
• Experience leading large multi-faceted customer implementations in contingent workforce
• Knowledge of MSP delivery models and VMS tools (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, Magnit)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients with focus on compliance and satisfaction
• Strong communication skills across functions and geographies
