Business Development Manager – IP Litigation

A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support its highly regarded IP Litigation practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior BD Executive looking to step up into management, or an existing Manager looking to join a market-leading disputes team. The firm is open to candidates from a range of legal and professional services backgrounds and prior IP experience is not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading pitches, proposals and credentials for high-value opportunities
- Managing legal directory and award submissions
- Delivering thought leadership, campaigns, events and profile-raising activity
- Supporting strategic client development and account management initiatives
- Preparing client research, briefings and market intelligence
- Working closely with partners to identify growth opportunities and strengthen client relationships
- Tracking BD activity, ROI and pipeline development through CRM systems
The role offers exposure to a broad mix of business development activity, including pitches, events, thought leadership, client development, directories and strategic planning within a high-performing global disputes practice.
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience in legal or professional services business development, strong stakeholder management skills, and a genuine interest in building trusted relationships with partners and clients. The firm is also open to ambitious individuals looking to take their first step into a Manager-level position.
