Role
A friendly and community-focused primary school in Wantage, Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their learning support team. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate to gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting primary-aged pupils who require additional help in their learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
- Supporting the class teacher during lessons
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Adapting and individualising activities to meet specific pupil needs
- Liaising with the SENCo and class teacher to provide feedback and monitor progress
