Psychology Graduate

A Psychology Graduate is required to support pupils at a special educational needs (SEN) school in the Edgbaston ward of Birmingham. This temporary position pays £85 to £101 per day and runs from September 2026 to July 2027. You will work in one‑to‑one and small‑group settings to assist students with autism throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with autism across the school day.
• Help students follow routines and access learning.
• Build confidence and develop communication skills.
• Promote positive engagement in the classroom.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in psychology or a related subject.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Demonstrated interest in working with children and supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Desire to pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
