Research Assistant – Real-Time Rail AI (Part-Time)

Newcastle University invites applications for a part-time research role within the RAPID project on real-time predictive monitoring of wheel-rail adhesion. You will contribute to the development of intelligent railway adhesion-management technology in collaboration with industrial and academic partners.

The position is fixed-term for 9 months at 18.5 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £33,951 to £35,608 per annum. The role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and led by Dr Sadegh Nadimi.
