Site Manager – Facades & Cladding Remediation

Overview

In this Site Manager role, you oversee day-to-day site operations on cladding remediation and façade refurbishment projects within occupied residential buildings. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, maintain the programme, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The position emphasizes resident-focused planning and clear communication with clients and stakeholders. You join a growing SME contractor delivering high-impact building safety improvements and project delivery at pace.

Responsibilities

• Manage all site activities from mobilisation through to completion
• Coordinate the safe removal of existing cladding systems
• Oversee the installation of new compliant cladding and façade systems
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with design specifications, Building Regulations and fire safety requirements
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site labour
• Monitor programme and report progress to the Project Manager
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance
• Carry out regular site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Liaise with clients, consultants, Resident Liaison Officers and other project stakeholders
• Manage site documentation, permits, inspections and handover processes

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cladding remediation or façade projects
• Good understanding of modern cladding systems and façade construction
• Experience working on occupied residential buildings
• Strong knowledge of current health & safety legislation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site programmes effectively
