Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Banbury, seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join its successful Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Residential Conveyancer to manage a quality caseload, mentor colleagues and play an important role in the continued growth of the department, with clear opportunities for career progression.
The Role
You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New build and shared ownership
- Transfers of equity and remortgages
- Equity release and first registrations
- Liaising with clients, agents, brokers and lenders
- Mentoring junior fee earners and support staff
- Supporting compliance, CQS and departmental development
- Contributing to networking and business development
About You
- 5+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX
- Strong experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Good technical knowledge and excellent client care skills
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience desirable
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
