Heating Installation Engineer

Overview

As a Heating Installation engineer at British Gas, you will install and upgrade central heating systems, supporting customers across multiple UK locations. You work within a Gas Engineering team to deliver reliable, safe heating solutions while prioritising an outstanding customer experience. You help drive the UK’s transition to greener energy through quality installations and conversions. Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade central heating systems (full installations, upgrades, conversions)
• Perform associated plumbing works as needed
• Deliver outstanding customer experience on every visit
• Collaborate with a team of experienced Gas Engineers to meet customer needs
• Handle electrical knowledge related to wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination boilers
• Support the safety and quality of installations in residential settings

Key requirements

• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) or equivalent in plumbing or heating
• 3 years qualified experience in full system installations
• Electrical knowledge including wiring and fault finding for S-plan, Y-plan and combi systems and boilers
