Senior Project Manager – Hydropower

Overview

In this role you will lead hydropower project delivery, guiding multi-disciplinary teams to achieve on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes. You will work across a portfolio of large dams and hydropower schemes, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to manage risk and ensure community-focused results. Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex hydropower projects to time, budget and quality targets
• Proactively manage cost, schedule, risk, stakeholders, resources and governance across projects
• Coordinate among Owner’s Engineer, contractor teams, clients and lenders to ensure project objectives
• Provide advisory, design, remediation or due diligence support as needed on project lifecycles
• Foster strong team dynamics, mentor team members and maintain client relationships
• Support business development and cross-project collaboration within Stantec UK

Key requirements

• Experience managing complex hydropower, dams or large energy projects
• Project management qualifications such as APM PMQ or PMI PMP
• Strong skills in cost, schedule, risk, stakeholder, resource and governance management
• Hands-on, proactive leader with excellent planning and communication abilities
• Experience in contractor or consultancy environments is advantageous but not essential
