Business Consultant Principal

Overview

In this role you help clients optimize investment processes using SimCorp Dimension, acting as a trusted advisor across front-office areas. You will design and configure multi-module solutions, support standard implementation practices, and identify opportunities for growth. You’ll work with asset managers, asset owners, and banks to translate business needs into effective configurations. The role offers exposure to diverse markets and a hands-on induction through the Dimension Academy, with a focus on delivering measurable client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, understanding client business processes and acting as trusted advisor
• Design and configure cross-module solutions to achieve client outcomes
• Advise on improving standard implementation processes and offerings
• Identify growth opportunities and feedback to the organization
• Participate in sales processes when required to promote SimCorp concepts
• Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues and share knowledge across international teams

Key requirements

• Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science or similar qualification
• Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms
• Excellent know-how in at least two areas: Portfolio management; Trading and order management; Compliance, regulatory and internal restrictions; Performance measurement and attribution; Risk management (market and liquidity); Regulatory topics (Solvency II incl. ORSA); Instrument valuation and analytics (theoretical pricing)
• FRM, CFA, CIPM or other relevant certifications/designations are desirable
• Team spirit and willingness to share knowledge
• High communication and consulting skills
• High degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness
