Day Surgery Healthcare Assistant – Patient Care

Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) to join the Day Stay Unit at Basildon Hospital on a 12-month maternity cover. You will support patients from admission through to recovery and discharge, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering safe, dignified, person-centred care in a busy surgical environment.

Role involves assisting with pre- and post-procedure care, stock checks, and transport of patients within the unit.
