You will support an acclaimed Insurance team, handling indemnity, risk and casualty matters for a high-profile client base. You’ll work on claims management, coverage disputes, and policy wordings, including corporate casualty claims, client presentations and negotiations with insurers. This is a chance to develop in complex contentious insurance work within a reputable firm and make a meaningful impact on sophisticated risk matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of insurance matters including indemnity, coverage disputes and policy wordings
• Manage claims and assist with recovery efforts
• Handle corporate casualty claims as part of the team’s docket
• Organise client presentations and contribute to client-facing activity
• Negotiate with insurers and coordinate recoveries
• Work on high-level insurance and coverage work across classes of business
• Support senior lawyers in complex contentious insurance matters
• Assist with maintaining and developing client relationships

• Newly Qualified (NQ) to 5PQE
