I’m working with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an experienced Business Services and Operations Managerto oversee the smooth running of its Belfast office and lead a range of essential business support functions. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong operational expertise with commercial awareness, excellent people management skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding workplace experience.
The opportunity
- You’ll take ownership of day-to-day workplace operations, facilities, supplier relationships, budgets, office services and business continuity.
- You’ll also lead a business support team, ensuring resources are deployed effectively and high-quality administrative support is delivered across the organisation.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help shape operational improvements, lead local projects, coordinate office-wide initiatives and ensure the workplace continues to meet the needs of a changing business.
About you
- Proven experience managing office operations, workplace services or business support within a fast-paced professional environment.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget management and supplier contract oversight.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior level.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Experience overseeing senior administrative or executive support teams would be advantageous. An interest in process improvement, innovation and emerging technology would also be welcomed.
