Product Manager – AI Tools & Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will shape the strategy and delivery of AI-driven tools and workflows for pre-production in VFX/Animation. You will work closely with product, engineering and GTM teams to translate user needs into a compelling roadmap and ensure customer value. You will be an evangelist in the field, mapping market needs to innovative solutions and balancing business priorities with technical feasibility. You will track performance, identify risks, and influence senior stakeholders to keep the product vision on track. This is an opportunity to influence how AI accelerates creative processes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define user requirements and use cases for AI tools and workflows
• Translate strategy into features and backlog, prioritising based on impact and constraints
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver releases
• Conduct market research, customer feedback, and validation activities
• Represent the team at events and with external stakeholders when needed
• Create and maintain product demos, tutorials, and training materials
• Coordinate multiple backlogs across development teams and initiatives
• Support marketing content, sales tools, and customer support processes
• Track commercial and engagement targets and manage risks

Key requirements

• 3+ years of technology management experience or 5+ years in VFX/animation production in a technical/artist/producer role
• Knowledge of VFX/Animation workflows and tools (Nuke, Griptape, Comfy) and AI-enabled tools
• Excellent software development knowledge and technical aptitude
• Proven leadership, project management, and stakeholder relationship skills
• Self-starter with urgency and ability to work independently
• Curious, data-driven, and able to make clear decisions
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and proven impact measurement
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• London-based and eligible to travel as needed
