An established international law firm is looking to strengthen its London real estate team with the addition of an ambitious associate.
The practice works with a diverse range of clients, from major property investors and developers to institutional landlords, occupiers and lenders. Its work spans the full life cycle of commercial property, from acquisitions and disposals through to development, investment and asset management. With a strong international network and an established presence in the London market, the team offers exposure to a varied workload and clients with increasingly cross-border interests.
This is an opportunity for a real estate lawyer to join a busy, well-regarded team where the quality of the work, strength of the client relationships and scope for professional development make it an attractive next step.
The Role
Working alongside experienced partners and colleagues, you will advise on a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
- Acquisitions and disposals of investment properties and commercial portfolios
- Landlord and tenant matters, including the negotiation of commercial leases
- Development projects, from site acquisition through to delivery

- Property finance, including secured lending and refinancing
- Asset management work for institutional investors and property owners
- Real estate matters arising in connection with wider corporate transactions
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of transactions, build relationships with clients and work closely with colleagues across the firm’s wider practice. The breadth of the team’s work means the role would suit someone who enjoys a varied practice and wants to continue developing both their technical ability and commercial judgement.

- Experience in commercial real estate gained at a respected City, international or national law firm
- A solid grounding in property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and leasing
- Confident drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Commercially aware, organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients and other advisers
Why Apply?
- Join an established international firm with a strong London real estate offering
- Work across a varied mix of investment, development and transactional matters
